The greatest challenge you need to
deal with for you to walk in God’s power is the issue of conflicting covenants.
This is the reason why genuine Christians struggle to live the Christian life.
If your forefathers did not serve God or they went to church and still engaged
in the worship of strange gods, you have to deal with this issue. The good news
is that you have a scriptural basis to annul every covenant conflicting with
the covenant of God in your life. The demonic covenants must make room for the
covenant of God sealed with the blood of Jesus if you desire to walk in the
power of God.
“Blotting out the handwriting of
ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of
the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers,
he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” Colossians 2:14-15
Most times, this issue is hidden
and you have to pray to expose it and deal with it. When you pray the fire of
the Holy Ghost upon your life, you begin to see revelations that will expose
the activity of hidden covenants and be able to deal with it successfully. You
must know that you cannot be involved in the worship of strange god whether by
proxy or directly if you want the power of God in your life.
Let the fire of the Holy Ghost
fall upon you in the name of Jesus Christ.
Prayer for today: I annul every hidden
and unknown covenant conflicting with the covenant of God in my life in Jesus
name.
