Mysteries of unanswered prayers 2

“But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.” James 1:6-7

Never doubt God. The greatest “sin” you can commit in prayer is the sin of unbelief or doubt. Romans 14:23b says, “for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.” God answers prayers. Do not let unbelief stop God’s hands in your life. No matter the bigness of the situation, it cannot be bigger than God!

When you come to God in prayer, come with boldness of faith with the assurance that He is true to His word and He is able to deliver those that trust in Him. Never leave His presence without the assurance that it is done. Mercy is available at the throne of grace but we must come with boldness and in faith. When people give up easily or quickly turn to alternatives, they miss the best of God. God can make way in the sea and can make the thickest wall to collapse.

May the root of the unbelief in your life be totally uprooted in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God I believe and I receive answers to my prayers in Jesus name.
