Mining the mind 4

“So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding.” Proverbs 2:2

The third instrument that you need to explore your mind is purposeful listening. Purposeful listening means listening to what you need to hear and getting understanding. Unfortunately, not everyone that listens, understands. Also, there are so much noises out there that are not important to your mind. If you cannot hear then your mind is closed and cannot be explored.

Mathew 13:15 says, “For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.” The heart and the mind are used interchangeably in the bible. When a heart is waxed strong, it means there is no access. The mind has solutions that can provide a change of situation (conversion) and healing (solutions). Hearing will give you access.

You must listen to your father for your mind to deliver. Your father does not only mean your biological father but someone who knows more on a subject matter than you or that have answers you are looking for. Proverbs 4:1 says, “Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.”

May you gain access to information that will give light to your mind in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Let my hear be opened to hear correctly and my mind to gain understanding in Jesus name.
