“And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue;
and to virtue knowledge.” 2 Peter 1:5
If all you know is the saving
faith, you will be at the mercy of deceivers in this endtime . They will tell
you to do all sort of things that are not biblical to solve your problems and
you will do it. Jesus is the wisdom and the power of God. You must walk in the
knowledge of this wisdom and power to handle all the affairs of your life.
Beloved, study the word of God, be a Berea Christian (Acts 17:11).
“And such as do wickedly against
the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their
God shall be strong, and do exploits.” Daniel 11:32
“Study to shew thyself approved
unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word
of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15
Your exploits as a Christian
depend on your knowledge of God and His word. Your capacity to receive from
God, walk in faith and in the supernatural, solve your problems, subdue
mountains, defeat wickedness depend on your knowledge of the word. Don’t just
attend church for social reasons, listen to the word of God and study it by
yourself.
May you not be deceived in Jesus
name.
Prayer for today: Oh Lord, let me be
hungry for the knowledge of your word in Jesus name.
