“Neglect not the gift that is in thee………..” 1 Timothy 4:14
Life is exciting when you are
using your gifts/talents, in the right place, among the right people, at the
right time. If any of these factors is neglected or not in place, it leads to
frustration. Let me talk about the first point today: your gift. Never neglect
your gift or talent for any reason. Your prosperity, joy, result, profit and
reward is directly attached to your gifts and talents.
“A man's gift maketh room for him,
and bringeth him before great men.” Proverbs 18:16
“Then he which had received the
one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping
where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: And I was
afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo , there thou hast that is
thine .” Mathew 25:24-25
Have you ever watched a footballer
or a singer and you wished you were as talented as him or her? The point is
that you too are gifted and talented in something. If you want to deal with
frustrations in this life, you must find that talent, develop it and use it.
Never look down on your gift or your talent because you think it is not popular
or it is substandard to that of others. Most people are frustrated because they
are trying to be another person whereas they are great people in their own
right.
May the grip of frustration be
broken over your life in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Help me oh God to
discover myself and to be who you want me to be in Jesus name.
