“Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall
never suffer the righteous to be moved.” Psalms 55:22
This trouble is not yours!
Surrender it to the Lord the willing burden bearer. One thing is sure on this
earth, there will always be a burden. But as a child of God, you must know
where to put it. If you put it on your head or your heart, you are placing it
in a wrong place. It belongs to the Lord.
“Casting all your care upon him;
for he careth for you.” 1 Peter 5:7
“And Jesus answered and said unto
her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one
thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken
away from her.” Luke 10:41-42
“Therefore I say unto you, What things
soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have
them.” Mark 11:24
These scriptures are telling us
how to put our burdens on the Lord. The first thing to do is to ask the Lord
for a word. Now this morning you already have a word and that is the burden
does not belong to you. The second thing is to ask the Lord to take control of
it. The third thing is to believe that He has heard you. When you have done
this stop worrying and start praising God that it is done.
I see your burdens lifted in Jesus
name.
Prayer for today: Oh God, this load is
not mine, take charge of it in Jesus name.
