“And to godliness brotherly
kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.;” 2
Peter 1:7
Brotherly kindness refers to your
kindness towards your brothers and sisters in Christ. The gathering of Christians is supposed to be a gathering where
kindness is experienced without limits and restrictions. Kindness is defined as
a quality of being friendly, generous and considerate. This is what is needed
to support one another in good times and in challenging times.
“And let us not be weary in well
doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore
opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the
household of faith.” Galatians 6:9-10
We all go through things and
whatever we do for others will definitely come back to us as an harvest (seed
multiplied). Where is your kindness towards others? When you are in a position
to help, do you fold your arms? In the church where you belong, do people feel
you? You don’t have to be rich to be kind! You just have to be kind hearted!!
May the spirit of kindness be
alive within and around us in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Oh Lord help me to
there for someone in Jesus name.
