This promise must not slip

“That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises” Hebrews 6:12

When you have a promise from God, you cannot just go and sleep. Many Christians are experiencing unfulfilled promises because they are expecting the fulfilment to fall on their laps. You must not be lazy in handling the promises, you must use your faith and walk in patience. Faith is a fight and faith is a force. Mathew 11:12 says, “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” Patience is an indicator of accommodating the time it takes for the fulfilment to come.

You must act on what you believe for your faith to be complete. You can believe forever but if you don’t act on your belief you may not see it. When you have a promise, you must believe it, declare it, pray it through and obtain it. Your enemy does not want you to obtain it, that is why you must be aggressive and not give up until you have all that God has promised you.

“Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.” Daniel 10:12-13

The fulfilment of most people is hanging there with the territorial spirit in the second heaven and needs to be released. The good thing is that you can always release it when you apply your aggressive faith and break the power of the enemy on the promise.

You are moving from disappointment into fulfilment in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I break the power of the devil over what belongs to me in Jesus name.
