“And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but
God was with him, And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him
favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him
governor over Egypt and all his house." Acts 7:9-10
If you are important, the world,
the enemies and the kingdom of darkness will attack you, but you do not have to
handle the attacks alone. God is willing to combine with you. If you get into
this combination, you become unbeatable.
When the Patriarchs sold Joseph to
Egypt, they thought they were dealing with only Joseph. They did not know that
they were dealing with God also. Their expectations for Joseph was defeated. At
the island of Melita, a venomous serpent hanged on Paul’s hand, the people were
expecting him to fall down and die. But they did not know that the serpent was
not only dealing with Paul but also with God who was with him. The people
actually changed their mind and said he was god when he did not die (Acts 28:6)
There is a team that always wins,
a team of a man combined with God. Divinity in humanity conquers all. If you
really desire this combination, you must take both fellowship with God and
obedience to Him as the most important thing in your life.
May God be with you in all that
you do in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Oh God, I ask that your presence should go
with me and give me rest in Jesus name.
