“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with
power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the
devil; for God was with him.” Acts 10:38
The highest form of evil is
wickedness. Someone who stole a man’s book has done evil but the one who stole
his brain is operating wickedness. Wickedness involves the use of power of
darkness to enforce evil. You need the power of God to uproot wickedness and
conquer it.
When a sickness is caused by
bacteria, an antibiotic can deal with it. But, if it is caused by a demon, only
the anointing can take care of that. We have had to deal with many situations
like that in the work of the ministry. Sometimes ago, a young man was brought
to the church with a stiff neck. Medical test said nothing was wrong with him
but his neck was immovable. We prayed and released the neck. I have seen
someone whose business was stolen spiritually and the more she was making
money, the more she was going down in debt.
“And it shall come to pass in that
day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke
from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.”
Beloved, wickedness is real and so
is oppression but the power of God is more real and can subdue all form of
wickedness. May the wickedness that is against you be terminated. May the
habitation of wickedness that is against you become desolate in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Oh God anoint me, let
my burden be removed and let my yoke be destroyed in Jesus name.
