Dealing with life’s challenges 5

“Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;” Colossians 2:14
“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:” Galatians 3:13

Some life challenges are generational, familial or inherited. The good news is that you don’t have to go through such as a Christian because Jesus Christ already dealt with them.

If the pattern is in your family or your parents experienced the same that you are going through, it may fall into this category. Read about the family of Abraham in Genesis 11, you will understand why his wife was barren and God had to bless him to change his life. Hiel embarked on the project of rebuilding Jericho, but he never knew that he would lose his children (1 Kings 16:34). Ahimelech was at his duty post serving God, but he never knew that his generation has been sold out to death (1 Samuel 2:31, 1 Samuel 22). Some are due to unknown curses and covenants. Like the story of a Lady in Lagos, who was successful in her career but at the age of 39 nobody has ever approached her for marriage. This was her challenge until she found out that she has been covenanted into a marriage with the priest of the idol in her village. It was only when the covenant was broken that she could get married.

I invoke the blood of Jesus against any challenge you may be having as a result of a problematic foundation. Receive your deliverance in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I enforce my deliverance in every area of my life in Jesus name.
