Victory mentality 3

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4
“And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.  And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?” Mathew 14:29-31

The fact that you have received a vision or an idea from God does not mean that you will not be challenged. The fact that you are facing a challenge in executing the vision or idea that God gave you does not mean that you have not heard God. Any vision or idea that God gives has the potential of victory and capacity to overcome all obstacles and challenges. Keep the mentality of victory when executing the vision God gave you.

Peter heard Jesus said to him to come on water, and he did. He walked on water. He acted on God’s word and saw the supernatural. All were going well until the storm came. The fact that Peter heard God did not prevent the storm from coming. Peter became afraid of the storm, doubted the word and began to sink. Beloved, you cannot sink unless you doubt! The good news is that Peter cried unto the Lord to save him, and Jesus did save him. Both of them walked together on the water!

Perhaps you are facing a storm right now in the assignment God gave you, hear the word of the Lord: Don’t doubt God, the storm will soon be over. Perhaps you are already sinking, ask God to save you and He will hold your hand through the challenges.

Beloved, you are an overcomer, never doubt this truth until you see your victory.

Prayer for today: Lord, help me all the way to see the successful completion of the assignment you have given me in Jesus name.
