“Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not
disobedient unto the heavenly vision: But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at
Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles,
that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.” Acts
26:19-20
You have put your conviction in the
right perspective, you are speaking correctly and you are praying, the fourth
thing you must do to change your world is ACT. Take revelation or knowledge-based
steps to change your world. Work out your miracles by acting on God’s
instructions for your life. One good thing that will happen to you if you are a
praying Christian is that you will begin to see things. You will see and know
things about yourself, about your environment, about what you should do to
change your world. Now when you see or know things, you must do something about
them. Paul said in our text, “I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision.” He
began to do something radical about it immediately. He was seen everywhere
doing what he had been told by God to do. The rest is history, he changed the
world!
The problem with most people is that
when God speaks to them or give them a revelation of an idea of what they
should do, they wonder if it will work. They doubt!! They consult with people
who will discourage them from acting on what God has revealed to them. Paul
said in Galatians 1:16, “To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among
the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:” Beloved, stop
doubting, start acting, the world belongs to actors and not doubters.
May you believe God, may you do
something about what he revealed to you, may you change your world for good in
Jesus name.
Prayer
for today: I refuse to be disobedient to the heavenly vision, I receive
grace to make things happen on earth in Jesus name.
