Call unto Him!

“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not." Jeremiah 33:3 KJV

Our text is a divine invitation and a blank cheque given to all who dare to take God at His Word. It is the secret of walking in mysteries and experiencing the supernatural in everyday life. When you call and God answers, your life becomes a testimony of His greatness. The Scriptures give us clear guidance on how to approach this promise: be specific like Hannah, who prayed for a child and received Samuel (1 Samuel 1:10–20); be full of faith like the woman with the issue of blood, who touched Jesus’ garment and was healed (Mark 5:25–34); and be persistent like the widow who troubled the unjust judge until she got justice (Luke 18:1–8).

When you pray, do so with expectation, just as Elijah prayed for rain and sent his servant seven times until the cloud appeared (1 Kings 18:41–45). Be passionate like blind Bartimaeus, who cried out until Jesus stopped and restored his sight (Mark 10:46–52). Do not doubt, for James reminds us that “he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed” (James 1:6 KJV). Instead, come boldly before the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16), knowing that God is faithful and delights in answering the cries of His children. When you dare to call on Him with faith, persistence, and expectancy, He will surely reveal great and mighty things that you never imagined.

Prophetic word: I prophesy over your life today that as you call upon the Lord, your heavens shall open. The God who answered Hannah, Elijah, and Bartimaeus will answer you speedily. Every long-standing issue will receive divine attention. The Lord will show you great and mighty things beyond your imagination. Mysteries that have been hidden will be revealed to you. Where doors have been shut, I decree they shall swing open by the power of the Holy Spirit. Your life shall become a testimony of answered prayers, and those who see you will declare that you are indeed a wonder in the hand of God. In Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the privilege of prayer and the assurance that when we call, You answer. Today, I come before You with faith in Your Word in Jeremiah 33:3. Lord, remove every doubt, fear, and unbelief from my heart. Teach me to pray with specificity, passion, and persistence. Father, open my eyes to see the great and mighty things You have prepared for me. Turn every impossibility in my life into a testimony of Your power. Just as You answered Hannah with Samuel, Elijah with fire and rain, and Bartimaeus with sight, answer me according to my needs, desires, and your purpose for my life. Let my life continually reflect Your glory so that my testimonies will draw others to call upon Your name. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray. Amen.
