“And David enquired at the Lord, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.” 1 Samuel 30:8 KJV
The enemy strikes most effectively when you are absent, powerless, ignorant, or without cover (Matthew 24:43). But the moment you turn to God, determined to reclaim what was stolen, heaven backs you up (Acts 1:5–8; Joel 2:25; Jeremiah 30:17).
Jacob discovered the deception of Laban, and God gave him a vision that began his restoration (Genesis 30:30; 31:8–13). David, faced with loss, asked God if he should pursue the enemy, and the answer came clear: Go for it! God guaranteed recovery. The wise man declared that the thief must repay sevenfold (Proverbs 6:30–31). Jesus Himself affirmed His mission: “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” (John 10:10). Restoration is His agenda (Luke 19:10).
Beloved, go for it; you can recover what the
enemy has stolen. But remember:
- Your identity matters; you belong to God.
- God dwells in you; fear not.
- Walk in obedience and intimacy with Him.
- Build your capacity and be prepared.
- Dare the impossible with faith.
Prophetic Word: I prophesy over you, you will recover all that the enemy stole from
you. Nothing missing, nothing broken, in Jesus’ name!
Prayer: Oh God,
arise and compel the enemy to vomit what he swallowed. Restore me to the status
You ordained for me, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
