“The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.” John 3:8 KJV
You were born again to think supernaturally! What Jesus said in our text means your life is no longer governed by natural limitations, but by the unpredictable and powerful workings of the Holy Spirit. Think about this: Peter walked on water (Matthew 14:29); the people of the world called Paul and Barnabas, a god (Acts 14:11). When you are conscious of your spiritual rebirth, your thoughts must align with heaven’s perspective. You cannot think carnally and expect divine results. Jesus declared, “If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth” (Mark 9:23), showing us that believing (possibility thinking) births supernatural possibilities.
Throughout Scripture, we see that God calls His children to think on a higher plane. To the religious leaders of His time, Jesus was a mystery because He operated from a supernatural mindset, “I and my Father are one” (John 10:30), He said, and they accused Him of blasphemy because He dared to think like God (John 10:33). Yet He reminded them, “Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High” (Psalm 82:6, John 10:35). This is your divine heritage. As a child of God, you must renew your mind (Romans 12:2) and set your thoughts above (Colossians 3:2), refusing to be confined by human logic. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you (Romans 8:11); therefore, let your thoughts rise with Him.
Prophetic word: I prophesy over your life today that you shall no longer be bound by the limitations of natural thinking. You are born of the Spirit, and like the wind, your movement shall be directed by divine intelligence beyond the comprehension of man. I declare that your mind is renewed, your vision is elevated, and your understanding is opened to perceive the thoughts of God. You will walk in supernatural insight, operate in divine wisdom, and manifest solutions that confound the wise. As it is written, “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit” (1 Corinthians 2:9-10). From this day, may the mysteries of the Kingdom be unfolded to you, and may you walk as a sign and a wonder in your generation.
Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for the privilege of being born of the Spirit. I receive the grace to think, see, and speak supernaturally. Let the mind of Christ dwell richly in me, and let every carnal thought be cast down. Lord, elevate my understanding and align my thoughts with Your will. I reject fear, limitation, and the lies of the enemy, and I embrace the truth of who I am in You. As Your Word says in Isaiah 55:9, “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are Your ways higher than our ways, and Your thoughts than our thoughts.” Lift me into Your dimension, O God, and teach me to walk in the wisdom, power, and love of the Holy Ghost. Let my life reflect the reality of the supernatural, and let testimonies abound to Your glory. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
