Winning without fighting

“You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.”” 2 Chronicles 20:17

Are you in a situation that you need to win but fighting is not reasonable then this message is for you. Fighting may not be reasonable because of the limitation of your strength, the enormous strength of the opposition and the aggressiveness of your situation. Your assessment of the situation is that the opposition is too strong for you and if you fight you are sure to lose. I have a good news for you, you can win without fighting!

The way to fight without winning is called positioning yourself. Three great nations came against Judah. It was obvious that they did not have what it takes to fight these nations yet they needed to win. They turned to God and God said to them, “you will not need to fight but position yourselves.” Mathew 13:37 says, “what I say to you I say to all.” God is saying the same thing to you: Position yourself and see your victory.

The question is how do you position yourself to win without fighting against a dangerous and powerful opposition? The first thing is to stand still and see the salvation of God. Stop running helter skelter but stand still and expect victory. Biblically, standing still means waiting on God to hear what He will say to you (Habakkuk 2:1; Isaiah 40:31). Whatever He says to you do (John 2:5). The second thing is to be confident that God is with you. Beloved, there is no situation neither is there any opposition that can withstand our God (Psalm 144). The last thing is that you should fear not. Don’t be afraid, only believe.

I see you coming out with victory in this present situation in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God I am standing still before you, speak to me, give me confidence and boldness, and take care of my present situation in Jesus name.
