Praying in unbelief!

“And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a damsel came to hearken, named Rhoda. And when she knew Peter's voice, she opened not the gate for gladness, but ran in, and told how Peter stood before the gate. And they said unto her, Thou art mad. But she constantly affirmed that it was even so. Then said they, It is his angel.” Acts 12:13-15

I want to encourage someone who is challenged with a seemingly impossible situation to persist in prayer. Sometimes there is a strong doubt in your head because of the difficulty or impossibility of the situation. But if you continue in prayers you will still get the much needed divine intervention.

Can you believe what this praying people said to Rhoda who informed them that their prayers had been answered? They first said she was mad and when the young girl persisted and insisted, they said it was Peter’s angel. They never thought Peter could be delivered but yet they prayed. They prayed in unbelief but God still honored their prayers. God honored their prayer because they persisted. When their prayers had been answered they were still praying. Although their head said it was impossible but their heart said prayer is the way. And the result came.

Beloved, you can turn around any situation and I mean ANY, if you persist in praying. You may not believe but pray and don’t stop praying until your Peter is released. And if you can get someone who can agree and persist with you in prayer, you are blessed.

It is your turn to laugh in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I secure the release of whatever the enemy is withholding from me in Jesus name.
