“Then Jesus returned to Galilee, filled with
the Holy Spirit's power. Reports about him spread quickly through the whole
region.” Luke 4:14.
You are talented but get anointed too!
You came into the world packaged with talents,
that is the gift of God to you for your life and destiny. But you must spend
time with God to be anointed with the Holy Ghost and power. The anointing will
help you to make unusual things happen with your skills and talents. Act 10:38
says, “how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and
how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the
devil, because God was with him.” The anointing will also preserve you. Psalm
105:14-15 says, “He let no man oppress them; He rebuked kings on their behalf: “Do
not touch My anointed ones; do no harm to My prophets.”” You cannot be anointed
and be wasted.
If you are a doctor, be an anointed doctor; if
you are a businessman, be an anointed businessman; if you are an engineer, be
an anointed engineer; if you are a pastor, be an anointed pastor. Whatever you
do be anointed. Anointing will help you win with your skills. To get anointed,
you must personally spend time with God. Jesus returned to Galilee anointed
after spending 40 days and 40 nights in the presence of God. He continued to
spend time daily with God early in the morning or late into the night to stay
anointed.
