“I have fought a good fight, I have finished
my course, I have kept the faith:” 2 Timothy 4:7
Faith is a good fight. One reason is that the
world-way is different from the bible-way, you must keep the faith in Christ
and in His word. Another reason is that your present situation does not
represent the best of God for you. You must see what God has for you and
experience it despite your present situation. This also takes the faith fight.
Lastly when the facts and the truth are not in agreement, you need faith to
turn the fact to the truth.
Faith is a life time fight. You must
understand it and use it for you to truly live on earth. Habakkuk 2:4, Roman
1:17 and Hebrews 10:38 emphasized that the Just shall live by faith. Anytime
you need to challenge the status quo and make change a reality, the weapon of
faith must be handy. When faith is present, result is inevitable.
Faith is both a gift and a fruit. This means
God can give you the gift of faith and you can also develop faith. Lastly for
this introduction of the series “Winning the faith fight,” patience and hope
are faith enhancers.
