Three forces that determine your life 2

“For there is hope for a tree, If it is cut down, that it will sprout again, And that its tender shoots will not cease. Though its root may grow old in the earth, And its stump may die in the ground, Yet at the scent of water it will bud And bring forth branches like a plant.” Job 14:7-9

The second force that determines your life is the force of hope. This is the force that keeps you moving towards your goal in life. In life, the roads are not always smooth. There are valleys, mountains, seas, and rivers to be crossed. If the force of hope is not present, the heart becomes weak and the journey may be truncated. The force of hope gives reinforcement to the force of faith. Beloved, never lose hope no matter what you are passing true. A man may be breathing but if he has lost hope, he has lost his life.

Our text today says there is hope for a tree that is cut down, it will come up again. Even when its root grows old and dies in the ground, there is still hope for it. A contact with water will revive the tree. I do not know the level you are now, but there is something I know, there is hope for you.

Ecclesiastes 9:4 says, “For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.” There is a connection that will never fail you and that is your connection with Jesus. If you are joined to Him, I can tell you with all assurance that there is hope for you: your future is bright and beautiful no matter the state of the present. Micah 7:8 says, “Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.” Beloved, may be people are rejoicing because you are down now. Don’t lose hope because if you don’t, their laughter will not last. The light of God shall rise on you; you shall rise again.

Beloved, keep the picture of your glorious future before you. If you don’t lose hope, you will get there.

I see God making unusual things happen in your life in Jesus name.
