Timely help! 2

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:16

If help is available when a need arises, the need can never be a problem. The size of the need does not matter if appropriate and adequate help is available. There is a source of timely help that can handle all needs. The source is the throne of grace, where the Lord himself dwells. Perhaps you have a need right now, you can boldly come to the throne of grace and get the help you need.

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10

“My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:2

No matter the size of your need, help is available. Stop running helter-skelter, look up unto the Lord, enter the throne of grace, and get the help you need. Please look up, raise your two hands to the Lord, and ask Him to help you. Stop worrying about the need and start confessing that you believe you will receive timely help.

Your timely help has come, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let me be highly favored and marvelously helped, in Jesus’ name.

Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.

Timely help! 1

“And they said unto the messengers that came, Thus shall ye say unto the men of Jabeshgilead, To morrow, by that time the sun be hot, ye shall have help. And the messengers came and shewed it to the men of Jabesh; and they were glad." 1 Samuel 11:9 KJV

In 1 Samuel 11, Nahash came against the people of Jabesh Gilead. The people were willing to serve him, but he decided he was going to put them to shame. He wanted to make the whole city one-eyed by removing their right eyes. The people were going to agree if they could not get help. But Saul, anointed of the Lord, sent a message to them that help was coming, and they were helped. The enemy was defeated, and the people were not put to shame.

Beloved, perhaps you are in a similar situation where, except for help, humiliation is inevitable. I have good news for you: You will have timely help. You shall not be humiliated; the Lord God of heaven and earth, who never sleeps or slumbers, shall send you timely help. You shall never be put to shame in the name of Jesus. I have discovered that when you trust God with your life, He will always send timely help. Isaiah 41:10 and Psalms 121 are your guarantees.

You will be marvellously helped, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: I call in a timely help in my present situation, in Jesus’ name.

Your thoughts, words, and time 5

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:” Ecclesiastes 3:1KJV

The word time, in the Bible can mean two things: a season (Kairos) or our normal counting of days and hours (Chronos). We all have the same amount of time per day, but we are not in the same season of life. If you understand your season, you will know exactly what you invest your life in. If you understand that everyone has been given 24 hours a day, no matter who you are, then you will not waste time, but you will invest it. Actually, Jesus told us that if we invest our time (Chronos) the right way, we will not have to worry about the season (Kairos) (Acts 1:5-8).

“And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.” 1 Chronicles 12:32

“See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:15-16

If you are wise with the use of time, then you are indeed a wise person. To waste time is to waste life. The Psalmist knew how important this was, and he prayed in Psalms 90:12, “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” Three things I want you to know: Use your time wisely to advance your destiny. Also, you can ask God to change your season if the season is hard on you (Daniel 2:21). Lastly, God is not happy if you are not aware of the season of your visitation (Luke 19:40–44).

May you be discerning and be wise with the use of time, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, reveal to me the secret of the season that I am experiencing currently, in Jesus’ name.

Your thoughts, words, and time 4

And he said, Wherefore wilt thou go to him to day? it is neither new moon, nor sabbath. And she said, It shall be well…..Is it well with thee? is it well with thy husband? is it well with the child? And she answered, It is well:” 2 Kings 4:23-26KJV

I am sure you have heard people say that talk is cheap. Speaking positive words in a negative situation is not cheap. To speak of victory when experiencing defeat is not cheap. Most people will curse when faced with adversity. However, if you desire a turnaround in your situation, you must use your words positively and with authority. The woman in our text told her husband that it shall be well. She also told the servant of the Prophet that it was well, even when her only miracle child was dead. At the end of it, it became well.

“And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.” John 11:43

“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Mark 11:23

Jesus taught us to use our words to change things. He called Lazarus out of the dead. He spoke to an unprofitable fig tree. He spoke to the storm. He spoke to the situation of men to change it. He even said to us that if we have a word from the Lord, we are gods. It is important to know when to speak and when to keep quiet. However, we must speak words that align with our expectations for our lives.

It is well with your soul, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, put Your word in my mouth in season and out of season, in Jesus’ name.

Your thoughts, words, and time 3

“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Propverbs 4:23 KJV

Everything that can be seen in the physical realm has existed first in the thought realm. If your thought has not created something, you cannot create it. The source of innovation and creativity is thought. The source of all good and evil is thought. You cannot neglect your thoughts and the things that go into them if you really care about your life. What are your thoughts right now about your situation and your future?

“And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.” Genesis 11:6

“What do ye imagine against the Lord? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.” Nahum 1:9

One of the ways to use your thoughts is through imagination. You can use your imagination and the power of your thoughts to create your future. You can also use your imagination to kill your affliction and create a new life for yourself. Your imagination is a powerful tool to perform miracles for your life and destiny. Your imagination responds directly to your mediation. Mediate on the scriptures, and do not neglect books that are relevant to the future you want to create or the affliction you desire to kill. Your winning idea to kill poverty forever is in your imagination, driven by your thoughts.

Your imagination is strong and positive, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me imagination and thoughts that will advance my life, in Jesus’ name.

Your thoughts, words, and time 2

“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” Isaiah 26:3 KJV

Everyone has a mind; everyone has a thought. Your thought is your conviction, your belief, and the reason behind your actions. If you change your thoughts, you have changed your life. Your thoughts are revealed by exactly how your life is. Your thoughts can advance you, and your thoughts can also retrogress you. Some people have a kind of thought that prevents them from taking risks that will advance their lives, and so they are stagnant in life. If your thoughts align with the word of God, you cannot fail in life.

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:…….” Proverbs 23:7a

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2

There are two favors you can do for yourself. The first is that you should renew your mind by feeding it with what will give you positive, bold, and sound thoughts. The second is that you should think through your life. This is necessary if you desire a remarkable change in your life. See the story of the four lepers in 2 Kings 7:3–8. You can think through your challenges and problems in life, just like you can pray through them.

May you have a breakthrough thought, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me Your kind of faith, in Jesus’ name.

Your thoughts, words, and time 1

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth (Your words); but thou shalt meditate (Your thoughts) therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do (Your time/action) according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8 KJV (emphasis mine)

In the next three days or more, I want to share with you what everyone has that can either change your life or take you to the next level if used appropriately. Everyone currently has a thought; your thought can align with progress, stagnancy, or retrogression. Everyone has a word; your word can either make you alive or kill you. Everyone has 24 hours in a day; you can either invest your time or waste it. You cannot understand the Bible and not use your time, your thoughts, and your words to advance your destiny.

“The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.” Psalms 119:130

“Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,” Luke 24:45

All success principles in this world are extracted from the Bible. Even the holy books of some well-known religions are clear plagiarism of the Bible with some twisting. My question is, when you open the Bible, what are you looking for? Some people even go to church expecting the Pastor to tell them what they want to hear. It is not about what you want, but what your destiny needs (Acts 3:1–8).

May you hear what the Spirit is saying to you, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, shift me to the next level spiritually, in Jesus’ name.
