You will escape!

“And when they were escaped, then they knew that the island was called Melita.” Acts 28:1 kJV

Are you facing a storm in your life right now? Take heart, for the Lord has declared that you will escape, just as Paul and his companions did when they were shipwrecked on the island of Melita (Acts 28:1). Remember, storms may be fierce, but they do not last forever. Like the tempest that raged on the Sea of Galilee, which Jesus calmed with a word, your storm will also obey when you speak in faith (Mark 4:39). The enemy may try to use the storm to intimidate you, but do not forget that "greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world" (1 John 4:4). No storm can overpower the One who holds your life in His hands.

Moreover, you are not alone in this journey. Just as Jesus reached out and saved Peter from drowning in the stormy sea, He is reaching out to you now (Matthew 14:31-32). When the waters threaten to overwhelm you, remember God’s promise: "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you" (Isaiah 43:2). Your escape is certain because God Himself is with you, guiding you through the storm and leading you to a place of safety. Keep your eyes on Him, and you will emerge victorious, just as Paul did.

Prophetic word: The Lord says to you today, "Fear not, for I am with you in the midst of the storm. The winds that rage against you shall be silenced, and the waters that rise will not overwhelm you. Just as I delivered Paul and his companions safely to the shore, so will I deliver you from every trial that seeks to shake your faith. This storm is but a passage to your next place of victory. I am refining you, strengthening you, and preparing you for greater things. Trust in Me, for I have gone before you and made a way where there seems to be no way. Your escape is assured, and you will testify of My goodness."

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your steadfast love and faithfulness. I lift up Your child before You today, knowing that You see every storm they face. I declare in the name of Jesus that the storm will not prevail over them. Lord, just as You calmed the sea and saved Peter from sinking, I ask that You stretch forth Your hand and bring peace to their situation. Let them feel Your presence and know that You are with them every step of the way. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and give them the courage to speak to the storm, knowing that it must obey. I declare that they will come out of this stronger, with a testimony of Your miraculous deliverance. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
