“And saw two ships standing by the
lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.”
Luke 5:2
Giving up is not an option. It is
always either too early or too late to give up, you will never find a right
time to give up on a right cause. What do you then do? Update your information
level, find better ways to do what you must do to achieve your goal, remain
passionate.
In our text today, the fishermen
were already washing their nets, they had given up. Why, they toiled all the
night but they caught nothing. They were frustrated, dejected and tired because
they put in the best but failed. Fortunately, they encountered Jesus who told
Peter to launch the net back into the deep.
“And Simon answering said unto
him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless
at thy word I will let down the net. And when they had this done, they inclosed
a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.” Luke 5:5-6
In the same place where they
failed and had given up, they got a turnaround breakthrough. How? They
encountered the right person and got a fresh information. Beloved, instead of
giving up find out what you don’t know that you need to know. You are just an
information away from a change of story.
May you encounter the person who
has the information that you need in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Oh God help me to get
back to the height where I belong in Jesus name.
