“ And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of
thine house hath eaten me up.” John 2:17
Do you need a motivation to make
the house of your father look good when it is within your capacity to do
something? Christianity is a family affair. You become part of the family of
God when you become a Christian. You are part of the body, the church. The
church is not the building, the church is you, if you are a Christian.
“And he is the head of the body,
the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all
things he might have the preeminence.” Colossians 1:18
“For as the body is one, and hath
many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body:
so also is Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether
we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to
drink into one Spirit. For the body is not one member, but many.” 1 Corinthians
12:12-14
The church is a living being both
spiritually and physically. Anything living on earth needs money. The church
goals of evangelizing the world and meeting both the physical and spiritual
needs of people cannot be achieved without money. Never act as a visitor in
your father’s house. When you get into a service and everything is in order, it
is because someone did something. Be involved in your father’s house. It is
satisfying and exciting to be able to make a difference wherever you can.
Prayer for today: Oh God give me zeal
for your house in Jesus name.
