“And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:19 KJV.
Exercise your authority over situations, demons, and the work of wickedness around you. If you don’t, it is an indication of permission. Never be afraid to speak against what you don’t want in your life. Your authority is exercised by speaking and by making bold declarations. As Matthew 16:19 tells us, Jesus has given us the keys to the kingdom of heaven, empowering us to bind and loose with heavenly authority. This means we have the power to speak against the forces of darkness and command them to flee. Just as David spoke boldly against Goliath in 1 Samuel 17:46, declaring victory in the name of the Lord, we too must use our words to overcome our adversaries.
Your faith is expressed by speaking (2 Corinthians 4:13). Silence in the face of unwanted situations allows them to persist. Proverbs 18:21 reminds us that "death and life are in the power of the tongue," highlighting the immense power of our words. Jesus himself taught us to speak to our mountains, instructing us in Mark 11:23 that if we have faith and do not doubt, we can command mountains to be moved, and they will obey. By boldly declaring God’s promises and standing firm in faith, we exercise the divine authority granted to us, ensuring that no evil or unwanted circumstance can prevail in our lives.
Prophetic Word: The Lord is saying to you today, "I have given you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19). Do not fear, for I am with you. Speak boldly, for I have placed my words in your mouth. Just as I commanded the winds and the waves to be still, you too can command peace in the midst of the storm. Stand firm in your faith, and do not be silent. Declare My promises over your life, and see how I will move mightily on your behalf. Every mountain before you shall be levelled, and every Goliath shall fall. Trust in My power and walk in the authority I have given you."
Prayer: Heavenly Father, we come before You in the
mighty name of Jesus, thanking You for the authority You have bestowed upon us.
We declare that we will no longer remain silent in the face of adversity, but
will boldly speak Your word over every situation in our lives. We bind every
work of the enemy, and we loose Your blessings, peace, and favor over us. We
stand on Your promises, knowing that what we bind on earth is bound in heaven,
and what we loose on earth is loosed in heaven. Please empower us, Lord, to
exercise our faith through our words, to move mountains, and to conquer every
Goliath that stands in our way. We trust in Your power and walk into the
victory You have already secured for us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
