Due season

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9 (KJV).

I decree that this is your due season in Jesus’ name. As we reflect on the words of Galatians 6:9, we are reminded that God’s timing is perfect. Just as the farmer patiently waits for the fruits of his labor, we too must trust that our good deeds—be it prayer, giving, service to God, or acts of love toward others—are like seeds sown into fertile soil. These seeds will surely bring forth a bountiful harvest in God's perfect timing. The Scriptures are filled with examples of this divine principle. Consider Joseph, who, despite many trials and delays, saw God's promises fulfilled in his life. When his due season arrived, he reaped abundantly, becoming a great leader in Egypt and a savior to his family.

In Nigeria, the lesson of the corn and cocoa farmers illustrates this beautifully. A corn farmer may see a quick harvest within three months, but a cocoa farmer waits three to four years for his harvest. The value of the cocoa harvest, however, far surpasses the quick yield of corn. This teaches us that some rewards take longer to materialize but are immensely greater in value. Likewise, we must not grow weary or discouraged if our harvest seems delayed. God’s promise is steadfast: "For in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." Just as Abraham waited for the promised son and David for his kingdom, we too must remain faithful. Beloved, hold on to God's promises; your due season of abundant harvest is surely on its way.

Prophetic Declaration: With the authority of the Word of God, I declare that your due season of harvest is upon you. Every seed of prayer, giving, service, and love that you have sown shall yield an abundant harvest. You will not grow weary or faint, for the Lord is your strength. Just as Joseph rose to a position of great favor and influence, you too will rise above every trial and see the fulfillment of God's promises in your life. Your waiting is not in vain; your breakthrough is imminent. You will reap bountifully in due season, and all eyes will see the glory of God manifested in your life. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your promises that never fail. We stand on Your Word in Galatians 6:9, believing that in due season we shall reap if we do not faint. Lord, grant us the strength and perseverance to continue sowing good seeds, trusting in Your perfect timing. Remove any weariness and discouragement from our hearts. Just as You brought Joseph, Abraham, and David into their seasons of fulfillment, bring us into our due season of abundant harvest. Let our lives be a testimony of Your faithfulness and goodness. We declare that every delay is broken, and we step into our divine season of reaping. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
