Four Implications of His birth 2

“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.” Mathew 1:21

The second implication of the birth of Jesus is salvation from sins. The good news is that no one can be under the dominion of sin and of Jesus at the same time. It is either sin is ruling over you or Jesus is ruling over you. Jesus came to give us power and dominion over sin. We are saved from sin and its consequences through our faith in the Lord Jesus and we become children of God. We receive grace to have dominion over sin through our personal encounter with Him.

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” John 1:12

“For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace” Romans 6:14

I am a believer in Christ Jesus saved by grace through faith in Him. What about you? My life would have been messed up by sin and its consequences but His grace found me. Paul giving his testimonies in 1 Timothy 1:15 said, “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.”

May His grace be abundant in your life through faith and love in Christ Jesus.

Prayer for today: I receive forgiveness and deliverance from sin through faith in the Lord Jesus.
