“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Mathew 4:4 KJV.
Practice speaking the Word of God, no matter what you face or what you are going through. Jesus Himself set the perfect example when, confronted by the devil in the wilderness, He declared, “It is written…” A faith-filled word can change any situation at any time, because God’s Word is living and powerful (Hebrews 4:12). Faith comes by hearing the Word of God and is activated by speaking it boldly (Romans 10:17; 2 Corinthians 4:13; Mark 11:23-24). When David faced Goliath, he didn’t just run into battle silently; he declared, “This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand” (1 Samuel 17:46), speaking victory before it manifested. Never speak from the flesh; speak from the Spirit, for God watches over His Word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12).
Remember, you are justified or condemned by the words of your mouth (Matthew 12:37). Jesus taught that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks (Matthew 12:34), so if you fill your heart with the Word of God, you’ll always have the right Word to release in every situation. Let your confession align with God’s promises, like Abraham, who “staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God” (Romans 4:20). Speak God’s Word in faith, and watch mountains move and miracles unfold in your life!
Prophetic word: The Spirit of the Lord says, “My child, My Word in your mouth is a mighty weapon and a creative force. As you declare My promises, I am shifting circumstances in your favor. Do not fear the storms around you, for My Word calms the winds and the waves. Just as I spoke and light came forth, so shall light break into every dark place in your life. You shall speak and see mountains move, doors open, and chains fall off. I am placing a new boldness upon your tongue. Speak My Word, and watch Me perform it swiftly. For I am faithful, and My Word shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please and prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for the power of Your Word. I pray for a fresh anointing upon my lips to speak words of life, faith, and victory. Let Your Word dwell richly in my heart, so that in every situation, I will declare Your truth and not be moved by what I see. Strengthen my faith, Lord, and teach me to align my confession with Your promises. Just as Jesus overcame the enemy with “It is written,” let me also triumph over every challenge through Your Word. I decree that my mouth shall be an instrument of Your Spirit, releasing blessings, healing, and breakthrough. Let signs and wonders follow the Word I speak in faith. Thank You, Lord, that You are watching over Your Word to perform it in my life. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
