Practice His presence!

“But the Lord is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten.” Jeremiah 20:11 KJV.

To practice the presence of God means to stay in constant fellowship with Him, walking daily in the awareness that He is with you. This truth is a game-changer in the game of life; it positions you for unshakable victory in every circumstance. When you live conscious of God’s presence, persecutors cannot overcome you, giants cannot subdue you, waters cannot swallow you, fire cannot burn you. You will be bold like a lion and do what is beyond you, like David killing Goliath. Like Joseph, what the enemy means for evil shall be turned for your good (Acts 7:9-10; Genesis 50:20).

Consider how God’s presence made the difference for His people: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego walked unscathed in the fiery furnace because the Son of God was with them (Daniel 3:23-25). Paul and Silas sang praises in prison, and the earth quaked and the prison doors were opened because God’s presence came down to set them free (Acts 16:25-26). Peter spoke healing to the lame man at the Beautiful Gate, and he leaped to his feet because he carried God’s presence (Acts 3:6-8). The Lord promises in Isaiah 43:1-2 that when you pass through the waters, they will not overwhelm you, and when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned. As Isaiah 8:9-10 declares, though nations gather against you, they shall be broken in pieces, for God is with you. Beloved, cultivate the consciousness of God’s abiding presence, for therein lies your safety, victory, and unstoppable destiny!

Prophetic word: Beloved, hear the word of the Lord: I am with you as a mighty One who fights your battles. Fear not the arrows of persecution nor the giants that stand in your path, for they shall stumble and fall before you. The waters shall part, and the fire shall lose its power over you. What was designed to destroy you shall promote you. I am turning evil plots into stepping stones for your greatness. Walk in My presence, and you shall see chains break, doors open, and victories manifest. I am the Lord your shield, your deliverer, and your exceeding great reward. Rest in My presence, for I will do wonders in your life, says the Lord.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your abiding presence that surrounds me like a mighty fortress. I choose today to practice Your presence and walk in the consciousness that You are with me. Let every enemy plotting my downfall be confounded and put to shame. Turn every evil intention into good, and let Your power deliver me from waters that seek to drown me and fires that seek to consume me. Like Joseph, let me rise above betrayal; like Daniel, let me stand unscathed among lions; like Paul and Silas, let my praises shake every prison open. Lord, let Your presence be my refuge, my strength, and my victory. I declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against me in judgment, I condemn. Thank You, Lord, for victory on every side. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
