Two waiting options

“The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.” John 5:7.

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31

When and if you need a breakthrough, you have two options. You either wait for men or wait on God. Choose to wait on God rather than wait for men.

A man sent to you by God is a great instrument in destiny. You cannot make it without such people. I have been blessed to have such people in my life and ministry. You will definitely need people sent to you by God to fulfil your destiny. However, you must learn to wait on God rather than wait for men. Men will only help you if they are sent by God. Now hear this, it is possible for a man sent by God to refuse, God will send another man if you wait on Him.

I have seen people disappointed because someone they expected to help or support them did not do it. Please don’t. The impotent man in John 5 wasted 38 years waiting for a man. He did not get help until a man sent by God came to his life. If you are confronted by a situation stronger than you, spend more time with God than with men. If you get through to God, men will get through to you. Those that wait upon the Lord receive new strength and get results.

May you experience God’s supernatural power this week in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: God give me the grace to wait on you in every situation in Jesus name.
