Mortify unbelief

 “Elisha replied, “Hear the word of the Lord. This is what the Lord says: About this time tomorrow, a seah of the finest flour will sell for a shekel and two seahs of barley for a shekel at the gate of Samaria.” The officer on whose arm the king was leaning said to the man of God, “Look, even if the Lord should open the floodgates of the heavens, could this happen?” “You will see it with your own eyes,” answered Elisha, “but you will not eat any of it!”” 2kings 7:1-2NKJV

Believe your dream, pursue it and achieve it in Jesus name. A dream you do not believe you cannot pursue; anything you are not willing to pursue, you cannot achieve.  Napoleon was sharing his war strategies with his generals, one of them said that what he was talking about was impossible. He replied, “Don’t you know that impossibility is only in the dictionaries of the fools” What many thought was not possible several years ago has now been done by men. Never doubt the ideas or dreams that God is giving you. Believe it and work with it.

“For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.” Hebrews 4:2

“As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.” Mark 5:36.

In our text today, one of the king’s servants doubted the word of God spoken by the Prophet, he could not reason with it so he responded in unbelief. As a result, he lost the opportunity to enjoy the miracle. Can you remember an idea you did not pursue, but you later appeared in the market? Because someone else received it, believed it, and ran with it. I challenge you to believe your dream and achieve it, God always supports believers in Him.

Prayer for today: Oh God, fill me with the spirit of faith in the name of Jesus.

Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.
