Confront and conquer

 “A lion which is strongest among beasts, and turneth not away for any;" Proverbs 30:30.

Yesterday, I emphasized the need for you to know whose you are. I want to remind you also that as a child of God, you belong to a family of Lions, the Lion of the tribe of Judah. And as such, we do not turn back from obstacles and challenges, but rather we confront and conquer. David did not run away from Goliath, he confronted and conquer him. He is from the same tribe where you belong. Whatever stands as an obstacle, a challenge or goliath will surely go down before you as you confront it.

“And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof." Revelation 5:5

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4.

Beloved as a member of this family, you have the wisdom, the power, and the favour of God. The truth is this, this challenge is not your match. No matter how big it looks, you are bigger than it. You can confront and conquer it. Greater is He that is in you, than he that is hidden in the challenge. Begin your confrontation by cursing the challenge or obstacle to die. Then ask God for the wisdom and the appropriate weapon, and use it. Don’t run from it, but confront and conquer it.

I see every obstacle crumbling before you this month in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I receive the boldness to confront and conquer all my challenges in Jesus name.

Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.
