Your expectation shall not be cut off

 “For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.” Proverbs 23:18

You are welcome to the new month of April, it is your month Abib, the month that God brought deliverance and recovery to the people of Israel. This was a long-time expectation of the people of God, but it came to pass in a similar month like this. I have a word from the Lord for you, don’t lose hope because your expectation shall not be cut off in Jesus name. Keep on believing, keep on declaring, and keep on acting on your expectation. It shall see the light of the day this month in Jesus name.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11

“The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.” Proverbs 10:28

 As a Christian, you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. The fulfilment of your expectation is guaranteed in this righteousness. Stay in this righteousness. Do not depart from the faith because of a delayed expectation. God is thinking about you right now and He is at work to give you an expected end.

Your expectation is delivered in Jesus name.

Activating the force of advancement 4

 “And the hand of the Lord was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.” 1 kings 18:46

You can also activate the force of advancement by divine encounter. Divine encounter is what brings the power of God into the life of men leading to supernatural increase and advancement. When the hand of the Lord came over Elijah, he outran the chariot of Ahab driven by two horses. Divine encounter gives unusual speed and positions you to receive the help of God. Divine encounter will change your story and make you relevant among men.

“Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” Luke 1:34-35

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Acts 1:8

No matter the level you are right now, if you desire an advancement that only God can give, you need a divine encounter. Divine encounter causes the Holy Spirit to be at work in you. Spend time with God and ask for the fullness and the power of the Holy Spirit. Pray until the light of heaven shines into your life then nothing can stop your advancement.

May you advance by the power of the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.

Activating the force of advancement 3

 “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:1

Invest in yourself to activate the force of advancement resident in you. You can do whatever you are trained to do. Daily and continuous learning is what powers your growth and increases your value. Relevant skill development, including time management, may be needed to advance your life. Fortunately, today there are many quality and inexpensive ways to learn and improve yourself.

“And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.” Acts 18:26

“And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.” 1 Chronicles 12:32

A man called Apollos was described as eloquent and mighty in the scriptures in Act 18. However, Aquila and Priscilla trained him so that he can be better and more effective. Also, most people will get better results if they know time management. Prioritize personal growth and begin to see new and better results in your life.

I decree growth in every area of your life in Jesus name.

Activating the force of advancement 2

 “The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.” Matthew 6:22

Another factor that gives force to your advancement is a focus. You may not know how much power God has deposited within you for your advancement until you focus on your vision. You need to succeed in one thing first, focus will help you generate what you need. Do you know you can use a convex lens to focus the scattered heat energy from the sun to burn a piece of paper?  Focus helps you to converge your energy on one thing. Please do it for your vision.

“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.” Philippians 3:13

“And as thy servant was busy here and there, he was gone. And the king of Israel said unto him, So shall thy judgment be; thyself hast decided it.” 1 kings 20:40

Please do one thing: reach out to achieve your vision. Pray through for your vision. Read books that will help you with the vision. Find an association and company of people that will help you with your vision and join them. Strategize for the vision and do your strategy. Beloved, don’t be busy here and there, focus on your vision, if you have a strong desire for it to see the light of the day.

May you be disciplined enough to focus on your vision in Jesus name.

Activating the force of advancement 1

 “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” Proverbs 29:14

You cannot advance without a destination in mind. You cannot run without a vision. If you do, it will in the end be an effort in futility. You need a clear vision to go forward in life. Imagine this, if a car is covered with mud outside, as long as the windscreen is exempted, it will get to its destination. However, if the windscreen is covered with mud and the other parts are clean, it goes nowhere.

“And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” Habakkuk 2:2

“And a certain man found him, and, behold, he was wandering in the field: and the man asked him, saying, What seekest thou?” Genesis 37:15

I want to challenge you to have a vision of creating new things, particularly in the area of your talent or passion. We need to ask God for visions and ideas that will create jobs and give us economic power. We need also to have visions that will put us up as a solution for mankind. You have what it takes, get a vision that will force you to advance in life and destiny. Think and pray until your mind catches a vision from God.

Take the limit off

 “And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.” Genesis 13:14

Take the limit off your life, your destiny, and every area of your life. You can have whatever is beyond the limit if you can see beyond the limit. One way to take the limit off is to see beyond the limit. Unfortunately, it is easy to look, but it is not easy to see. You must see with either the eyes of your mind or the eyes of your spirit if you have decided to take the limit off.

“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.” Habakkuk 2:1

“And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.” 2 Kings 6:17

You have to feed your mind to see through your mind and you have to feed your spirit to see through your spirit. To feed your mind, you have to decide what you read, what you watch, and what you listen to. To feed your spirit, you need to meditate on God’s word, pray in the Holy Spirit, spend time in prayer and fasting. For both, spending time with the word of God and fellowship are keys.

What to do with the word

 “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:” Matthew 7:24

The word of God is the wisdom and the power of God. For you to experience His wisdom and power, you must hear the word and do the word. I put it this way, you must hear the word, believe the word in your heart, speak the word with your mouth, and do the word for you to experience the supernatural power of the word. This takes diligence and commitment, but it is where your breakthrough is.

“But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;” Romans 10:8

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8

What you do with the word determines the outcome of what you are going through. It is not the strength, the bigness, or how long the challenge has been. When you see the importance of this you will give attention to the word to handle whatever comes your way. The word of God is superior to your battles.

Be a believing Christian

 “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us” Ephesians 3:20

I challenge you to be a believing Christian and not an unbelieving Christian. An unbelieving Christian believes God for his salvation and that is all. He does not believe Him for any other thing. Unfortunately, you only receive when you believe. The bible says, the just shall live by faith. As a believing Christian, you must believe that God lives on the inside of you, and He is working with and through you. You need to carry this kind of mentality to scale the hurdles in life.

“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Mark 11:24

“Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.” Hebrews 10:38

Challenges come to all whether you are white or black, tall or short, rich or poor, Christian or non-Christian. But if you believe God, you will always overcome. I keep on telling people the size of your battle does not matter when you can believe that God is with you. That was why the small David was able to take down the biggest Goliath. Beloved, I don’t care to know what your expectations are or what situation you are presently going through; but I care to tell you that if you are a believing Christian, you are unbeatable.

May you experience victory today and every day in Jesus name.

Build your faith

 “And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” Matthew 17:20

The quality of your life depends on your faith. It is your faith that makes you whole. It is your faith that helps you to change things and situations. It is your faith that makes you enjoy the power of God. You need faith to experience the promises of God in your life. You must consciously build your faith for you to fulfil your life and destiny.

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” Romans 10:17

“But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,” Jude 1:20

The most practical way to build your faith is through fellowship with Jesus. Both personal and congregational fellowship is important. Hearing and meditating on God’s word. Fasting and praying. Praying in tongues. Keeping a company of people who believe in Jesus and walk by faith. These are all important if you desire to build your faith.

Everyone is a believer

 “While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further? As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.” Mark 5:35-36

Everyone is a believer. Everyone is a doubter. There are always two sides to a coin. A belief in one side is a doubt on the other side. If you believe the positive, you doubt the negative. If you believe God you doubt satan. When Jairus decided to believe Jesus concerning his daughter, he became a doubter of the people who brought the negative report. The result of your life does not depend on the magnitude of your challenge, but on what you believe, choose to believe God.

“Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.” Matthew 9:29

“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”  Mark 11:24

When the ten spies in Numbers 13 were saying they would not be able to take the promised land, they became believers in the ability of the opposing giants and doubters of God's promises. It came to pass for them according to the direction of their faith. Beloved no matter what you are going through, find the promise of God and believe it. Say it until you believe it and you shall have it.

All time help

 “And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever.” John 14:16

All believers are heavenly assisted. We have received an all-time helper in the person of the Holy Spirit. Please don’t run your life and destiny without this all-time helper. He is today your guaranteed source of the wisdom and power you need to fulfill your life and destiny. He is the Spirit of truth. He is not meant for unbelievers because they cannot receive. However, He dwells with and lives in all believers in Christ.

“the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.” John 14:17

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”  Acts 1:8

The Holy Spirit was the Spirit of faith on Caleb that helped him to believe God for the promised land. The Holy Spirit was the anointing on David that helped him to kill Goliath with a sling and a stone. The Holy Spirit was what the disciples had that helped them to do extraordinary exploits. You cannot make it without this all-time helper.

May you be helped at all times by the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.

Timely help

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:16

If help is available when a need arises, the need can never be a problem. The size of the need does not matter if appropriate and adequate help is available. There is a source of timely help that can handle all needs. The source is the throne of grace where the Lord himself dwells. Perhaps you have a need right now, you can come boldly come unto the throne of grace and get the help you need.

“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.  My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1-2

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10

No matter the size of your need, help is available. Stop running helter-skelter, look up unto the Lord, enter unto the throne of grace, and get the help you need. Please look up, raise your two hands unto the Lord and ask Him to help you. Stop worrying about the need and start confessing that you believe you receive timely help.

The power of personal fellowship

 “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.” Acts 4:13

When you are ready for a spiritual breakthrough, you will prioritize your personal fellowship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit. A spiritual breakthrough precedes breakthroughs in life and in destiny. The kind of boldness that only God can give is acquired in the place of personal fellowship. You access the power, the wisdom, and the secret of God in the place of personal fellowship with Jesus.

“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.” John 15:4

“As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle;” Job 29:4

You probably don’t like the way things are going with you. You are coming of age and all your expectations are getting delayed. You are experiencing victory, but defeats still show up from time to time to swallow the victory. Your opportunities are not matching up with your strength. You must enter into a daily personal fellowship and be consistent until you have a breakthrough.

Your turnaround is now in Jesus name.

Don’t accept it, please

 “And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.  And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.” Luke 13:11-13

God has made provision to heal you, deliver you and bless you. Please never accept any condition that is contrary to God's plan in your life. It does not matter how long the condition has persisted, stand on God’s promises and receive your victory. The woman in our text has suffered for eighteen years not because it was God's will but because she could not receive God’s provision for her deliverance.

“When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.  Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.” John 5:6-8

“He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight.” John 9:11.

Jesus is the solution to all problems, whether long-term or short time, difficult or easy, spiritual or physical. Two keys are important. The first is that you must speak against the situation the same way Jesus would have spoken using His name. Secondly, you must listen to the voice of the Holy Ghost and obey. In any case, I am happy to inform you that there is a solution for all your challenges, don’t just accept them.

Your solution is now in Jesus name.

Mortify unbelief

 “Elisha replied, “Hear the word of the Lord. This is what the Lord says: About this time tomorrow, a seah of the finest flour will sell for a shekel and two seahs of barley for a shekel at the gate of Samaria.” The officer on whose arm the king was leaning said to the man of God, “Look, even if the Lord should open the floodgates of the heavens, could this happen?” “You will see it with your own eyes,” answered Elisha, “but you will not eat any of it!”” 2kings 7:1-2NKJV

Believe your dream, pursue it and achieve it in Jesus name. A dream you do not believe you cannot pursue; anything you are not willing to pursue, you cannot achieve.  Napoleon was sharing his war strategies with his generals, one of them said that what he was talking about was impossible. He replied, “Don’t you know that impossibility is only in the dictionaries of the fools” What many thought was not possible several years ago has now been done by men. Never doubt the ideas or dreams that God is giving you. Believe it and work with it.

“For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.” Hebrews 4:2

“As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.” Mark 5:36.

In our text today, one of the king’s servants doubted the word of God spoken by the Prophet, he could not reason with it so he responded in unbelief. As a result, he lost the opportunity to enjoy the miracle. Can you remember an idea you did not pursue, but you later appeared in the market? Because someone else received it, believed it, and ran with it. I challenge you to believe your dream and achieve it, God always supports believers in Him.

Don’t give up

 “And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” Luke 9:62

The enemy wants us to give up on our God-given vision but we shall not. In the face of attacks and oppositions, we shall not retreat neither shall we surrender. Even in the face of challenges and uncomfortable situations, we shall not give up. We shall get there. The Lord Jesus kept his eyes on the joy ahead and kept the faith, so shall we. Paul also kept the faith and finished his course, so shall we.

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:” 2 Timothy 4:7.

We have received a vision from God and shall not give up. The devil hates us for aligning ourselves to the vision of God so he will throw all manners of arrows at us. He wants us to get discouraged and tired. I don’t know what you are going through right now. Have your trusted people deserted you? Is it tough financially? Do you feel alone or lonely? Do you feel sick physically and emotionally? Look unto Jesus, stretch your hand to Him. He has been there, let Him take you through it. I hear in my spirit, victory ahead.

I decree in the name of Jesus, it is your enemy that shall give up, you shall not give up.

Powerful declaration

 “Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.” 1 Samuel 17:45

There are powerful and empty declarations. Your declaration cannot be empty if made in the name of Jesus. There are two major biblical reasons for this. The first is that the name of Jesus is exalted above others. The second is that the name of Jesus is a strong tower. No matter what faces you, make a powerful declaration first in the name of Jesus and you shall experience the efficacy of the name.

“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:9-11.

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.” Proverbs 18:10.

Please don’t keep quiet when situations and circumstances are against you. Don’t keep quiet when a Goliath is harassing you, your finances, or your marriage. Don’t also make an empty or vain declaration. Rather make a powerful and bold declaration and experience a victory in Jesus name.

I declare that you are more than a conqueror in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I declare, let all mountains confronting me be cast into the sea in the name of Jesus.

Prayer of agreement

 “Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 18:19

Are you being confronted by an intimidating situation or circumstances? Get someone to agree with you in prayers. Are you being overwhelmed by doubt or unbelief, and you are finding it hard to pray? Then get someone who can pray with you in agreement. You can always beat any weakness of the flesh if you find a prayer partner. More importantly, if two are in agreement in prayer, God shall make their request happen.

“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.” Ecclesiastes 4:9.

“And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.” Acts 16:25-26.

The story of Paul and Silas is evidence of what prayer of agreement can do. Particularly if both people can feel each other struggles and challenges. It is really a great blessing to find someone who is not going through what you are going through, but can feel you, empathize with you, and agree with you in prayer. Two keys I have found important. The first is that you should always pray for people who are going through similar challenges as yours even in your closet. Secondly, get involved in the work of God.

I am in agreement with you that your prayers are answered in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, I pray for someone somewhere going through a difficult situation right now that you will send supernatural help to them in the name of Jesus.

What do you see?

 “Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree. Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.” Jeremiah 1:11-12.

I welcome you to the first working day of a new week. The word from the Lord is asking, “What do you see?” The implication is that you can decide what you see. It is important for you to see well so that the word of the Lord can be performed in your life. However, you need your eyes of faith to be opened so that you can see what will profit your life and destiny. This is because all that is available to see is not all that your physical eyes can see.

“(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)” 2 Corinthians 5:7.

“And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.” 2 Kings 6:17.

If what your physical eyes can see is not what you want to see, ask God to open your eyes. Ask God to give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation so that your eyes of understanding could be enlightened to see what you should see. Meditate on what God has said about your current situation so that you can see what you should see and experience a miracle.

May you see victory in the midst of all challenges in Jesus name.

Victory mindset

 “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4.

I don’t know what the world is currently throwing at you, but one thing I know is that there is only one expected outcome for everyone born of God. This outcome is victory. You don’t have to wait till the end of the battle to enjoy the victory if you have a victory mindset. God has declared you a victor even before the battle started, you have to believe it and declare it.

“Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, “We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.”” Numbers 13:30.

“This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.” 1 Samuel 17:46.

Any time there is a song of victory there must have been the song of battle. But the truly blessed is the one who started enjoying the victory even before the battle started. It takes a victory mindset to do so. More importantly, it takes a victory mindset to actually experience and enjoy victory because as a man thinks in his heart so is he. This kind of mentality comes by believing that you have victory because the word of God says so. In the realm of the spirit, believing is seeing. When you believe that you are victorious, it gives you the confidence to be bold and to strategize to appropriate your victory. Victory mindset is revealed by the sound of your voice in the midst of the battle.

Your song of victory is now in Jesus name.

Light in the darkness

 “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." 2 Corinthians 4:6.

The commandment of God is superior to every existing situation in your life. Also, God does not see as a man sees. However, if you align with God, both your situation and what you can see will reflect the power of God. If all you can see now is darkness, I have a word from God for you, light shall shine out of your darkness. Water shall come out of your rock, your desert shall become a fruitful land.

“For thus saith the Lord, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts." 2 Kings 3:17

“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:19.

Beloved, don’t be discouraged nor give up, the hour of darkness shall expire and the hour of light shall be ushered in.  You must say what God is saying no matter how thick the darkness is. And what is God saying? God is saying let there be light.

Let your dark situation turn to light in Jesus name.

Confront and conquer

 “A lion which is strongest among beasts, and turneth not away for any;" Proverbs 30:30.

Yesterday, I emphasized the need for you to know whose you are. I want to remind you also that as a child of God, you belong to a family of Lions, the Lion of the tribe of Judah. And as such, we do not turn back from obstacles and challenges, but rather we confront and conquer. David did not run away from Goliath, he confronted and conquer him. He is from the same tribe where you belong. Whatever stands as an obstacle, a challenge or goliath will surely go down before you as you confront it.

“And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof." Revelation 5:5

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4.

Beloved as a member of this family, you have the wisdom, the power, and the favour of God. The truth is this, this challenge is not your match. No matter how big it looks, you are bigger than it. You can confront and conquer it. Greater is He that is in you, than he that is hidden in the challenge. Begin your confrontation by cursing the challenge or obstacle to die. Then ask God for the wisdom and the appropriate weapon, and use it. Don’t run from it, but confront and conquer it.

I see every obstacle crumbling before you this month in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I receive the boldness to confront and conquer all my challenges in Jesus name.

Whose are you?

 “For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,” Acts 27:23.

Whose you are is more important than who you are. The outcome of whatever challenges you are facing does not depend on the size of the challenge nor does it depend on your strength. It is determined by whose you are and your knowledge of what He can do. Paul was talking confidently about the Angel of God, whose He was because he knew that it shall be as he was told: None of them would die because of the storm. You too will make it because you are a covenant child of God.

“If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king." Daniel 3:17

“And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!” Luke 15:17.

The turnaround happened in the life of the prodigal son when he realized that his father had abundance. How could he be suffering hunger when whose he was, had more than enough? He simply went back to his father and his story changed. The three Hebrew boys were not moved by Nebuchadnezzar's fiery furnace at all. They knew whose they are and His ability to handle all situations including fire. Beloved, if you belong to God and you are sure of it, you cannot lose the battle.

The Lord our God, whose we are, is able and will help us in times of need and challenges in Jesus name.

God cannot fail

 “The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.” Psalms 34:10.

God cannot fail you. Any other can fail, but God cannot fail. Our text this morning is talking of young lions who are at the prime of their strength. They are young, they have the strength to hunt, but yet they can fail in getting something to eat. However, those who seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. Beloved, thank God for what you have got, but only God cannot fail you. A decision and positive action to seek the Lord is all you need to turn your situation around.

“Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:30-31

“I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.” Psalms 34:4-5.

Perhaps your strength has already failed you, people have failed you, and you have tried all you know to do without result. There is one more thing you can do, and this cannot fail. Seek the face of the Lord. Do not stop until you have received a word or an impartation on the issue.

I see the God that cannot fail showing His strength in your life as you seek Him in Jesus name.

God has an answer

 “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” Jeremiah 33:3.

God has an answer for you. It does not matter how difficult or impossible your situation is, God has your solution. I explained to us yesterday that He does not and cannot lie. He that does not lie is saying to you this morning to call upon Him. You may not be able to see the solution by yourself, He will answer you and show you the way out of your trouble.

“And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me." Psalms 50:15

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Philippians 4:6.

You don’t have to worry about the trouble in your life if you can trust God enough to call unto Him. As a New Testament believer, you are God's covenant child through Jesus our Lord. You have the name of Jesus and the power of the Holy Ghost. More importantly, you have the unfailing promise of God. Please trust Him with your life and situation and experience a deliverance that is beyond your thought and action.

God is about to do a mighty thing in your life in Jesus name.

God cannot lie

 “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” numbers 23:19.

God does not and cannot lie. His words and promises do not and cannot fail. He is dependable and trustworthy in any situation and at any season. Man may promise and fail for any reason, genuine or non-genuine. But God cannot fail you. Whatever you are passing through, find His word and stand on it. You can be sure that His word will come to pass in your life if you waver not.

“In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;" Titus 1:2

“That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:” Hebrews 6:18

If you have found yourself in a desperate situation, please channel your desperation to seeking God and His word. His word is the solution you need. His word is the miracle you need. His word will turn around the situation that brings despair into your life. One good thing is that you can open your bible and find a word for your situation. If you can believe that word, declare the word and pray the word, you will receive God's intervention in your life.

As you begin a new week, the solution has come to you in Jesus name.

3 steps to getting results

“And a certain man found him, and behold, he was wondering in the field: and the man asked him, saying, what seeketh thou?” Gen 37:15.

You surely desire results in your life. You must identify what has been preventing you from getting results and deal with them. As a child of God, your results must appear to all. The first step of getting results is that you must establish a clear goal. If you have no goal, you score no goal! Determine the results you want to get, pray through on each of them, and sow a seed towards each of them. When you do, your goal becomes an expected harvest. Now your goals are best when downloaded by revelation, although God recognizes your choices.

“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:13-14

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

The second step is that you must establish your action plan. Strategic planning is the key of getting your goal accomplished. Establish a plan of action you need to take to deliver your goal. Here, your knowledge and the amount of information available to you are important. Don’t forget, every road leads somewhere. If your plan is wrong, your result will be wrong. Also, your action plans are best downloaded by revelation. And lastly, do your plan. Act on your plan. Just do it. Don’t procrastinate. Even when you are not feeling like doing it, just do it.

I decree that you shall have great results in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me wisdom, for uncommon success in Jesus name.

"Giving shape to your destiny”

Your destiny and Prayer

 “And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.” Genesis 32:26.

You need a vision from God, the wisdom of God, the power of God, the favor of God, and the blessing of God to fulfil your destiny. Pray and receive these from God, if you are really desperate to fulfil your destiny. These are divine empowerment to make your life count on earth. No matter your age, it is not too late nor too early to pray these into your life.

“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved." Habakkuk 2:1

“And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” 1 Chronicle 4:10

God has a vision for you, but you must stand upon your prayer watch to receive it. Jabez was heard by God and his destiny was recovered despite the curse of his mother upon his life. Jacob was desperate for the blessing of God and he was not denied. As New Testament believers, we are better positioned to receive all that we need for destiny fulfilment. We have the written word of God, the name of Jesus, and the power of the Holy Ghost. I encourage you this morning to pray through for your destiny.

It is well with your soul in Jesus name.

Believe God for your destiny

 “Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.” John 1:45-46.

Yesterday was the birthday of our grandfather in the Ministry, Daddy GO, Pastor EA Adeboye. A man of God wrote a great piece about his faith and made a very strong comment that got me into thinking. After mentioning many great exploits of faith by Daddy GO, He said, “Many destinies are buried in unbelief and discarded in doubt.” Please, no matter what you are going through, believe God for the great destiny He has for you.

“And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth?” Genesis 37:10

“And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither.” 1 Samuel 16:11

You may not look it, but surely, a good and great thing will come out of your Nazareth.  But if you doubt God, you cannot see it. Definitely what God has for you is beyond your thinking and that of anyone but you must not bury it in unbelief or discard it in doubt. Go for it and trust God to help you all the way. Jacob did not believe Joseph’s dream nor did Jesse believe David’s future. Beloved the truth is that anybody can doubt your destiny, but YOU MUST NOT if you want it to see the light of the day.

You will fulfil your destiny in Jesus name.

Build bridges not walls

 “Why should I take my bread and water, and the meat I have slaughtered for my shearers, and give it to men coming from who knows where?”” 1 Samuel 25:11. 

Do you reach out to people or you are a lone ranger? Are you building relationships or you are destroying them? Are you building bridges or walls when it comes to relating with people? Relationships are the greatest currency in the world today. Relationship with God and with people. You cannot claim to have a good relationship with God, if you don’t relate well with people.

 “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.” Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:19-20

It is wise to build bridges and not walls so that you will not be alone in the day you need people around you. Our text today was the words of Nabal when David asked him to help him and his followers with some food. He refused, despite the fact that David explained that they have been good to his servants.  He built walls instead of building bridges to reach out to David. Nabal’s wife later called him a fool when she took some food to meet David and his servant as they were coming to attack Nabal.

May you build a strong relationship with the right people in Jesus name.

The power of repeating actions!

 “And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.” 2 Corinthians 4:18

Repeating action is an indication of trust. It produces results. Be prepared to declare over and over again the word of God over your situation. Be prepared to pray and not faint if you desire supernatural results. You can see many examples of repeating actions in the Bible. In our text, Naaman was told to wash in Jordan seven times. Why did he have to do it seven times? Because repetition indicates both conviction and obedience. This is key to results in any area, be physical or spiritual.

“And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times. And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down that the rain stop thee not.” 1 kings 18:43-44

“And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought. And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.” Mark 8:23-25

Jesus had to touch the blind man in Mark 8 two times before the man could see clearly. Jesus also in Luke 18 praised the fact that the woman kept coming and encouraged believers to act like that in prayer. I guess something must be important with repeating an action seven times. There are so many scriptural references where an action had to be repeated seven times before a supernatural result was obtained. Don’t be discouraged to repeat an action if you are determined to get results. It is called persistence.

May you get results quickly in Jesus name.
