Laws of Access 2

“And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple: that disciple was known unto the high priest, and went in with Jesus into the palace of the high priest. But Peter stood at the door without. Then went out that other disciple, which was known unto the high priest, and spake unto her that kept the door, and brought in Peter.” John 18:15-16 KJV

Acquaintance facilitates access. Access often begins through an introduction. Peter entered the high priest’s palace because another disciple, known to the high priest, spoke for him. Many doors in life open not merely because of who you are, but because of who knows you and who is willing to speak on your behalf.

Connections grow when you nurture acquaintances into meaningful, covenant-level relationships. Access is not sustained by manipulation or convenience but by service, loyalty, and integrity. Relationships that are properly valued will defend and recommend you even in your absence. Proverbs 18:24 says, “A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.”

Naomi’s acquaintance with Boaz created access for Ruth. Her wisdom and relationship opened a door that Ruth could not have opened by herself. It is often divine strategy for elevation that God connects you to someone whose voice can grant you access to your next season. “Then Naomi her mother in law said unto her, My daughter, shall I not seek rest for thee, that it may be well with thee? And now is not Boaz of our kindred, with whose maidens thou wast? Behold, he winnoweth barley to night in the threshingfloor.” Ruth 3:1-2.

Avoid being a parasite in relationships. Even if you feel you have little to offer, there is always a way to serve or add value. Listen, honor, and obey the divine instructions that come through those you are connected to. Your destiny helpers often have helpers they can introduce you to, but they will only do so when they discern faithfulness, humility, and service in you.

Prophetic Word: I decree that in this season, the Lord will open your eyes to recognize the strategic relationships He has placed around you. You will discern them, serve faithfully, and through them enter the doors ordained for your destiny, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer: Oh God, give me wisdom to recognize, value, and nurture the relationships You have placed around me. Teach me to serve faithfully and to maintain divine connections that will lead me into destiny fulfillment, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
