“They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.” Psalm 125:1-2 KJV
As a Christian, one of your foremost responsibilities is to trust the Lord completely, with your life, your choices, and in every situation. The moment your trust in God is firmly established, your life becomes fortified like Mount Zion, immovable and secure. No matter how fierce the attack of the enemy, you will stand unshaken.
To trust God means to refuse compromise even in the face of trials or uncertainty. Joseph demonstrated this when he said, “How then can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?” (Genesis 39:9). Likewise, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego trusted God to deliver them from the fiery furnace, declaring, “Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us… but if not… we will not serve thy gods” (Daniel 3:17–18).
True trust will always be tested, but trust is the place of your victory. When you refuse to waver, God shows up. Doubt makes you vulnerable, but trust builds divine confidence. As Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.”
Prophetic Word: I prophesy over you today: you will not deny the Lord. In every situation, your trust in Him will stand firm, and you will not be put to shame in Jesus’ name.
Prayer: Oh God, give me the Spirit of faith to trust You at all times and in
every situation. Strengthen my heart to stand firm in Your promises, in Jesus’
name. Amen.
