“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will
do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because
there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for
he is a liar, and the father of it.” John 8:44
We are children of God and we enjoy His fatherhood because we believe
the truth of His word and reject the lies of the devil.
God created everyone but unfortunately many people are not His children
today. We became children of God through receiving the spirit of adoption (Rom
8:15) by believing Jesus who is the word of God and the Truth (John 1:12, 14).
Adam and Eve chose to believe the lies of the devil and lost the relationship
with God (Gen 3); Jesus called the Jew at that time children of the devil
because they believe the lies of the devil and they do it.
Beloved, as children of God, it is our responsibility to continuously
seek the truth of God’s word, believe it and walk in it for us to enjoy the
blessing of His fatherhood at all times. No matter what you are passing
through, devil or your circumstances do not have the final say, never accept or
believe their lies. God has the final say, and if you believe and act on His
word, you will have victory.
