How shall this be?

“Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” Luke 1:34-35 KJV

Mary’s question was not unbelief; it was a sincere search for understanding in the face of the impossible. God’s answer was simple and profound: the Holy Ghost. Heaven’s method is not human strength, human logic, or human qualification; it is divine power at work within and upon a yielded life. How shall a virgin conceive? The Holy Ghost. How shall the barren become fruitful? The Holy Ghost (Isaiah 32:15). How shall chaos give way to order and glory? The Holy Ghost (Genesis 1:1–2). How shall the impossible become possible? The Holy Ghost (Luke 1:37). How shall the weak become strong and the powerless become bold? The Holy Ghost (Acts 1:8). How shall what you are expecting move from promise to manifestation? The Holy Ghost.

The Holy Ghost is the good gift the Father delights to give to those who ask (Luke 11:9–13). At the new birth, you received a measure of Him, for no one can be born again without the Spirit of God. Yet Scripture reveals that there is a fullness available, a deeper infilling that empowers believers to walk in divine possibilities regardless of circumstances. What you cannot produce by effort, God releases by His Spirit. Where human ability ends, divine power begins.

Prophetic Word: I declare in the name of Jesus that every question of how in your life is answered by the power of the Holy Ghost. What looks impossible shall become possible. The Spirit of God will overshadow your situation and bring forth results that can only be explained by God. In Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Father, I thank You for the gift of the Holy Ghost. I acknowledge that without You I can do nothing, but with You all things are possible. I ask for a fresh infilling of Your Spirit; fill me to fullness and empower me to walk in Your purpose. Let every impossibility in my life yield to Your divine power. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
