He is the finisher!

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2 KJV

I want to draw your attention to Jesus, the One who not only begins but also completes what He starts. When He becomes the centre of our faith, our weaknesses, insufficiencies, and limitations lose their hold over us. He is the Finisher, and in Him nothing is left incomplete. As Scripture affirms, “Ye are complete in him” (Colossians 2:10). Our confidence, therefore, rests not in our consistency but in His unfailing faithfulness.

If you are anxious about the closing days of 2025 due to past failures or unfulfilled expectations, be encouraged: the Finisher has stepped in. Where your strength ended, His grace has begun. As with Peter, who laboured all night and caught nothing until Jesus intervened, divine intervention turns emptiness into abundance (Luke 5:1–6). With Jesus on your side, you will finish this year stronger, better, and more fruitful than you began. Every opposing force shall lose its grip, and by the power of the Finisher, you are breaking through.

Prophetic Word: I declare in the name of Jesus: every unfinished matter in your life is coming to completion by divine intervention. You will finish well, finish strong, and finish in victory. The grace of the Finisher will speak for you, overturn every limitation, and crown your efforts with visible results. What you could not complete by your own strength, God will perfect for His glory.

Prayer: Father, I thank You for Jesus, the Author and Finisher of my faith. I surrender every unfinished assignment, every delayed promise, and every lingering struggle into Your hands. Step into my situation, perfect all that concerns me, and cause me to finish well. Let Your grace speak where my strength has failed, and let Your glory be revealed in my life. In Jesus’ mighty name.
