“Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do
ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets” Mathew 7:12
How do you avoid being an offence to someone? By following the above
instruction our Lord Jesus gave to His disciples: do to others what you expect
them to do.
Most times people do not put themselves in the position of others and
that is the reason why they won’t mind to be an offence to others. Spreading
lies, plotting evil, murder, cheating, duping, hatred and such evil are
perpetrated by people against others because they fail to obey this instruction
from the Lord. Beloved, before you take that step or say that word that will
cause others to fall or suffer, ask yourself how you would take it if it were
you.
I ask God to guide you so that you will not be part of the offence in
your community but a solution to it.
