“Whereby are
given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be
partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the
world through lust.” 2Peter 1:4
Our Godly
purpose is to bring heaven to earth.
We will be
able to achieve this purpose if we put on divine nature. That is what it takes
to escape the corruption that is in this world. The corruption in this world
includes its wicked and unrighteous means of getting things, hatred for the
things of God, deception, immorality, witchcraft, poverty, and sickness. We
must beat all these and show the world the way to beat them.
Now to
achieve this Godly purpose, we must have the knowledge of God’s great and
precious promises, we must believe these promises, appropriate them into our
lives and walk in them.
The whole
process starts with a decision. A decision to be sold out to Jesus Christ and
walk in the power of the Holy spirit, a decision not to join the world no
matter what we are passing through; a decision to meditate on God’s word and
spend concrete time with God everyday; a decision to claim the promises of God
until they start to manifest in our lives; and a decision to do only the things
that are commanded by God.
Beloved, our
best opportunity to change the world is available right now, let’s take this
opportunity and surely heaven will reward us.
