“And
David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there
came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: And I went
out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and
when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and
slew him. Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this
uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied
the armies of the living God.” 1 Samuel 17: 34-36.
The
fact that God has done something for you before is an indication that
He can do greater things again and again. I don’t care to know how big
your present challenge is but I care to announce to you that if you can
rehearse your pass victories then you can experience greater victory
even now.
One
key thing that the enemy will fight in you is the boldness to face new
challenges, set new goals and go for greater heights. He will like to
terrify you with your inability and the size of your challenges. At such
time what you need is motivation and inspiration, and this you can get
by focusing on what God has done for you and through you in the past no
matter how little you think it was. David said to Saul, I had killed a
lion before and also a bear, Goliath will come down just like them. He
was inspired by the past victories and got boldness for new victory.
