“For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all
your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. “Luke 21:15
You need two weapons to beat your adversary, a
mouth and wisdom. You can get both from God.
If you keep quiet in the presence of your
adversary, you are in trouble. But when you speak, you must speak right. David defeated
Goliath first by speaking against him 1Samuel 17:45-47; Moses spoke against the
enemy first at the red sea. Secondly, you need to know what action to take and
do it to beat your adversary; that is wisdom. David needed just the sling and
the stone. Moses needed just the rod. Both of them acted the wisdom of God and
got the adversary beaten.
Are you being confronted by an adversary,
ask God for a mouth and wisdom to beat him.
