Higher Level of prayer

“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” Job 22:28

One level of prayer is when you pray the word of God which is the will of God. 1 John 5:14-15 says “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.”

Beloved, there is another level of prayer which I call a higher level. It is the level where God wants all His children to operate. It is the level when you decree and it is established. This was the level Elijah operated when he told King Ahab “As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.” 1Kings 17:1. This was the level Peter operated when he told the lame man at the beautiful gate “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.” Acts 3:6. At this level you ask for what you will and it is done. I am happy to tell you that you can operate at this level of prayer.

John 15:7 says “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” The Bible says for this to happen, you must abide in Jesus and His word must abide in you. Beloved, when you stay in God’s presence long enough and you meditate on His word long enough, you will attain a level whereby your will and God’s will are the same and whatever you decree will be established. The truth is that at this point you operate at the same level as God (mathematically speaking if A¢B and B¢A then A=B) John 10:35 says “If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;” Elijah stood long enough before God and he could tell the king that only what he said would determine what happened in the nation of Israel. You too can do it.

If things have not been working the way you expect in your life, don’t panic! Begin to spend time with God and His word, then you will become a “god” over the situation that is harassing you.

It is well.
(for further study on this meditate on Job 22:21-28; John 15:1-8)
