Smart Living

"Since a dull axe requires great strength, sharpen the blade. That's the value of wisdom; it helps you succeed." Ecc. 10:10 (New Living)

Wisdom will make a difference at all times. Imagine two persons assigned to two portions of land of the same size to clear. Both are given dull cutlasses to use. One of them thinks he has all the strength and starts working with the dull instrument while the other takes sometime out to go and sharpen the cutlass. I tell you the one with the sharpened instrument will come back, finish his work without struggle and leave the unwise colleague sweating it out.

The level of sweetness you experience on earth will be determined by the wisdom you carry. There is nothing you are going through which someone, somewhere has not gone through and overcome. That is why it is wise to give yourself to reading, particularly bible and books written by anointed men of God.

The time you take to develop yourself on the issues related to life and your chosen career is not wasted. The acquired wisdom will enable you to live and work smartly, bringing success without tears. It does not matter how people have described you or how it has been with you, get wisdom and success will come. If you have questions about life, get scriptures and books related to that area and prayerfully read and meditate on them. You will get revelation wisdom.

You will not be stranded in Jesus name.

Evaluation

“And there were four leprous men at the entrance of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die? If we say, We will enter into the city, the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the army of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die. And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the edge of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there.” 2Kings 7:3-5. (KJV2000)

Have you taken time to examine the past six months you have spent this year? Hear the word of the Lord, take time to analyze it; it will make the next six months count.

When you analyze the past six months, you will discover three things:
1. Reasons to thank the Lord for what He has enabled you to achieve.
2. Where you have missed it and the options before you.
3. Actions to take to move forward and enjoy the victory the Lord has wrought for you in the next six months.

The four lepers in our text did exactly that at the peak of the famine in Samaria and they discovered they had options by going into the camp of the enemy. They took the right decision to move in there only to discover that God had settled the situation. Their action changed the story in Samaria.

Beloved, the next six months will be far better for you than the last six months in all areas of your life in Jesus name; only take some time to analyze the last six months.

It is well.

Protect Your Seed

“And when they were departed, behold, the Angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him” Mathew 2:13 (KJV)

It is the seed that delivers the future. When the seed is destroyed, there is no future. The enemy knows this. When Jesus was planted as a seed, Herod tried to destroy Him. If he had succeeded, we won’t have billions of Christians in the world today.

Beloved, protect your seed. Your idea is a seed. The word of God in your mouth is a seed. Your vision is a seed. Hidden in the seed is the future harvest. The enemy will want to destroy it by sending doubt, discouragement and by influencing you to speak against your seed. If you must doubt, doubt your doubt. Never doubt the future of your seed because the enemy believes it has a future! When you are discouraged, find a reason to get your courage back, it is your responsibility!! Don’t stop watering your seed with faith-filled words.

Your seed shall deliver the harvest in Jesus name.
