Draw near to God!

“Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” James 4:8(KJV)

God is the origin of new things. If you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you, and new things cannot cease in your life. See various dimensions that He used in the scriptures to meet people’s needs and solve their problems. Satan and his agents cannot subdue a man who carries the presence of God. No matter what satan throws at you, draw closer to God, and you will always experience victory. God promised that you would find Him if you sought Him with your whole heart and you had new hope (Jeremiah 29:11-13). Moses experienced God's presence at the burning bush (Exodus 3:1–5), which marked the beginning of his assignment to deliver Israel. Hannah, in her brokenness, drew near to God in fervent prayer, and He gave her a son, Samuel, who became a great prophet (1 Samuel 1:10-20).

David, a man after God’s heart, defeated Goliath because he drew strength from God's presence (1 Samuel 17:45-50). Similarly, Joseph prospered in Egypt because God was with him, even in prison and through trials (Genesis 39:2-5, 21-23). Jesus Himself exemplified the power of drawing near to God, often withdrawing to pray and commune with the Father (Luke 5:16). When we cleanse our hands and purify our hearts, as James 4:8 commands, we create an atmosphere where God’s presence thrives. His nearness brings new dimensions of grace, breakthroughs, and the ability to overcome every opposition.

Prophetic word: The Lord says, "Draw near to Me, and I will draw near to you. In My presence is fullness of joy, and at My right hand are pleasures forevermore (Psalm 16:11). As you come closer to Me, I will reveal new things, open doors no man can shut, and make crooked paths straight. My plans for you are to prosper you and give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11-13). Do not fear, for as you seek Me, I will be found by you, and I will restore everything the enemy has stolen. I will cover you with My glory, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Walk boldly into My presence, for in Me, you will find strength, peace, and the answers to every challenge you face. I am the God who makes all things new, and I will do it for you."

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for the privilege of drawing near to You. Thank You for Your promise that as I come closer, You will meet me with open arms. Lord, cleanse my hands and purify my heart so that I may stand before You blameless and receive Your divine presence. I seek Your face with all my heart, trusting in Your unfailing love and plans for my life. Father, I ask for a fresh encounter with You today. Reveal Your glory to me, open my eyes to see new opportunities, and strengthen me to walk boldly in Your purpose. Let every obstacle in my path be removed, and let Your presence bring peace, joy, and restoration to every area of my life. I declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper because You are with me. Thank You, Lord, for the new things You are bringing into my life as I draw near to You. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray. Amen.
