Oh God, send a word!

“He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” Psalm 107:20 KJV

The power of God's Word cannot be overstated. Every breakthrough, every miracle, and every deliverance begins with a Word from the Lord. When Joseph was in bondage, his release came the moment God’s Word was fulfilled in his life (Psalm 105:17-20). In the midst of chaos and uncertainty, the Word carries divine authority to change circumstances. In Acts 27, Paul, despite being in a raging storm, confidently declared deliverance because a Word from God had come to him, assuring safety for all aboard. Today, no matter the storm you are facing, I declare that God’s Word shall locate you and bring healing, direction, and deliverance in Jesus' name!

The Word of God is light in darkness (Psalm 119:105), a hammer that breaks the hardest of situations (Jeremiah 23:29), and living and active, sharper than any double-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). When Jesus spoke to Lazarus, dead and buried for four days, His Word carried resurrection power and called him out of the grave (John 11:43-44). In Ezekiel 37, the dry bones came alive and became an exceeding great army when God’s Word was spoken over them. Whatever seems dead or hopeless in your life will respond to the Word of the Lord. So, lift up your eyes in expectation, for a Word is coming to heal, restore, and deliver you. Trust in Him, for His Word never fails! (Isaiah 55:11). Amen!

Prophetic word: I decree and declare that the Word of the Lord is coming to you right now in the name of Jesus! Whatever bondage, delay, or destruction has held you captive shall break at the power of His Word. Just as Joseph's season changed when His Word came, I prophesy that your appointed Word is being released to shift your situation. The storms in your life will cease at the command of God’s Word, and like Paul, you will testify of divine intervention and preservation. I speak resurrection power over every dead area of your life—relationships, finances, health, or dreams—just as Lazarus was called forth by the Word of Jesus. Today, your dry bones are coming alive, and the Word of God will bring light, direction, and supernatural results into your life. Rejoice, for the Lord’s Word shall not return void concerning you (Isaiah 55:11)!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, we thank You for the power and authority of Your Word. Lord, we ask that You send a Word into our situations today. Speak healing to the sick, deliverance to the oppressed, and breakthrough to the captive. Just as You sent Your Word to heal and deliver in Psalm 107:20, we pray that Your Word will manifest in our lives. Let light shine in every dark place, and let hope arise in our hearts. Father, release a Word that will silence every storm, open every closed door, and revive every dead dream. We stand on the promise that Your Word will accomplish what You send it to do and prosper where You direct it. Thank You, Lord, for the victory and testimonies that will come because of Your Word. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen!
