Dealing wisely in life!

“And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.” 2 Timothy 3:15 (KJV)

Divine wisdom, which is the highest form of wisdom, is brought into our lives through access to the written word and the Holy Spirit. If you know and have an understanding of the Holy Scripture, you cannot be a fool on earth. In Luke 24:45, Jesus opened the understanding of some disciples so that they could understand the scripture. Job 22 22-29 reveals the benefits of receiving instructions from Him and laying His word in our hearts. Joshua 1:8 reveals that we can deal wisely in all affairs of life if we have access to the mystery of His word. I don’t know what you seek in your life, wisdom through the word will deliver it into your hands (Luke 7:35).

The Holy Scriptures teach that wisdom is not just for intellectual pursuits but for practical living and eternal salvation. 2 Timothy 3:15 reminds us that the Scriptures make us "wise unto salvation," grounding our decisions in faith and eternal perspective. The Psalmist declares, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105), showing us the way to walk wisely in every situation. Jesus Himself is our ultimate example of wisdom; at age twelve, He astounded the teachers in the temple with His understanding of the Scriptures (Luke 2:46-47). Through His teachings, parables, and life, He modeled wisdom that is “pure, peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated” (James 3:17). As we meditate on His Word, seek His guidance in prayer, and allow the Holy Spirit to illuminate our hearts, we too can deal wisely in life, making choices that honor God and bless those around us.

Prophetic word: The Spirit of the Lord says, “I am releasing upon you the wisdom that flows from My throne, wisdom that will open doors no man can shut and provide solutions to life’s deepest challenges. As you meditate on My Word and yield to My Spirit, I will give you insight and understanding beyond human comprehension. Like Daniel, you will stand out among your peers because of the excellence of the wisdom I will place within you (Daniel 5:12). My Word will be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path, guiding you in all your ways. Fear not, for I will teach you and lead you in the way you should go (Psalm 32:8). Walk in My wisdom, and you shall prosper in every endeavor. This is the season where I will show Myself strong on your behalf, causing you to walk in victory and divine favor.”

Prayer: Heavenly Father, we thank You for making Your wisdom available through Your word and Spirit. Open our hearts and minds, Lord, as You did for the disciples, so that we may understand Your Scriptures and apply them in our daily lives (Luke 24:45). Grant us the wisdom of Joseph to manage resources, the insight of Daniel to discern mysteries, and the understanding of Solomon to lead with clarity and compassion. Lord, help us to meditate on Your Word day and night, as You commanded Joshua, so that we may deal wisely in all affairs of life (Joshua 1:8). Fill us with the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, that we may walk in Your ways and bring glory to Your name. Let Your wisdom guide our decisions, guard our hearts, and establish the works of our hands. Father, we declare that through Your wisdom, we shall rise above challenges, be solutions to the needs around us, and fulfill our divine purpose on earth. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
