Faith for New Things!

“The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.” Acts 14:9-10(KJV)

Faith for new things begins with a willingness to believe God for the extraordinary. In Acts 14:9-10, we see a man who had never walked, yet his faith was ignited as he listened to Paul speak. Paul discerned this faith and declared healing over him, resulting in the miraculous. Similarly, Abraham, the father of faith, believed God for a new thing—a son in his old age—despite the natural impossibility (Genesis 17:17-19, Romans 4:18-21). His unwavering belief brought God's promise into reality. Faith requires us to listen intently to God's Word, for "faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17). What you choose to hear shapes what you are empowered to believe and pursue.

The process of walking in faith for new things also requires action and visualization. As Habakkuk 2:1-2 advises, write down your vision and make it plain so you can run with it. Declare the promises of God over your life and visualize them as already done. Joshua and Caleb, out of the twelve spies, stood firm in faith, declaring that they could possess the Promised Land because God was with them (Numbers 13:30, 14:6-9). Their belief in God's ability to do a new thing opened the door for them to enter the land while others perished in doubt. Keep your heart steadfast, your words aligned with His promises, and your actions in sync with your faith, knowing that "without faith, it is impossible to please Him" (Hebrews 11:6). Through faith, you can boldly step into the new things God has prepared for you.

Prophetic word: The Lord says, “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:19). This is your season to step into the new. The limitations of the past are breaking, and the doors of divine possibilities are opening before you. As you listen to My Word and align your faith, I will cause what you have envisioned in your heart to manifest. Do not fear the unknown, for I, the Lord your God, go before you to prepare the way. Trust in Me, and I will establish the works of your hands. Your faith will birth new miracles, breakthroughs, and opportunities. Hold on, speak boldly, and act courageously, for I am with you, says the Lord.

Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for the promise of new things in my life. I believe that You are the God that makes the impossible possible, who makes streams in the desert and pathways in the wilderness. Today, I align my heart and my faith with Your Word. I declare that every vision You have placed within me will come to pass. Lord, strengthen me to walk boldly into the new opportunities and assignments You have prepared for me. Help me to listen to Your voice and silence every doubt and fear. I receive the grace to trust in Your timing and provision. Thank You for the new season You are ushering into my life. I give You all the glory and praise for the testimonies to come, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen!
