Be bold!

“The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.” Proverbs 28:1 KJV

The boldness of the righteous is not rooted in human strength but in faith in God’s unchanging Word. This boldness is a hallmark of those who trust God, for they walk without fear, assured of His promises. David, though a young shepherd, stood boldly before Goliath, declaring, “The battle is the Lord’s” (1 Samuel 17:47). His confidence wasn’t in his sling or stones but in the Lord of hosts. Similarly, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego boldly stood against King Nebuchadnezzar’s decree, proclaiming, “Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us” (Daniel 3:17). Their faith turned a fiery furnace into a platform for God’s glory.

Boldness is a sign of intimacy with Jesus. Peter and John, once ordinary fishermen, astonished the Sanhedrin with their courage, even in the face of threats, because “they had been with Jesus” (Acts 4:13). This same Jesus, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah (Revelation 5:5), empowers us to roar with boldness in the face of adversity. Paul reminds us, “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7). As you trust in God, let the lion within you rise. Be bold in declaring His promises, stepping into new territories, and standing firm in righteousness. Boldness enables you to take hold of your divine inheritance, for “the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force” (Matthew 11:12). May the boldness of the Lion of Judah prevail in your life, in Jesus’ name.

Prophetic word: The Lord says, "Be strong and courageous, for I am with you wherever you go. I have equipped you with boldness like a lion, and no force can stand against you when you walk in My truth. The mountains before you shall become plains, and the doors that seemed closed will burst open as you step forward in faith. This is the season for you to roar with the authority I have given you. Do not shrink back; the enemy's roar is nothing compared to the sound of victory I have placed in your spirit. As you act in boldness, My power will be evident in your life, and you will see My hand prevail in every situation. Be fearless, for I am with you, and I have already given you the victory."

Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank You for Your Word that reminds us of the boldness we have in Christ. We declare that we are as bold as lions, walking in the righteousness You have given us. Lord, we refuse to allow fear, intimidation, or the schemes of the enemy to silence our roar. Strengthen us to stand firm on Your promises, just as David stood before Goliath and as Peter and John proclaimed Your name fearlessly. Lord, release fresh courage upon us to take bold steps into the territories You have called us to possess. Let the Lion of Judah roar through us, breaking every chain, shattering every obstacle, and bringing glory to Your name. We pray for boldness to speak Your Word, live righteously, and advance forcefully in every area of our lives. Empower us to take new ground, declare Your will, and reveal Your glory. Thank You, Lord, for victory and for making us fearless. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
